SPORT-SPECIFIC CONDITIONING
    A sport-specific training program is designed to take base fitness
    and convert it into strength that applies directly to the activity.















    For years, many of the top outdoor athletes have said that the best training is the
    activity itself.  Time constraints, lack of access to wilderness and performance
    plateaus can sabotage even those with the best of intentions.  Sport-Specific
    Training can overcome these obstacles and even prevent injuries with a small
    investment of time.  Every training program begins with a foundation phase to
    reverse the effects of disuse or unbalanced training, and build the general strength
    of muscle and connective tissue.   After establishing a solid foundation, one moves
    into a strength building program to increase efficiency and muscular endurance.  As
    strength builds, training begins to focus on exercises specific to the activity.  At the
    end of the training cycle, you will be at your potential for peak performance.  Utilizing
    custom programs, James will create a program specifically for you incorporating
    your chosen sport for training as your schedule allows.
