    Peak Performance Training offers seminar presentations and workshops on a variety of topics including
    performance nutrition, advanced endurance training and sport-specific conditioning.  Listed below is a

This presentation is open to members of Team Altius, Northern Arizona Universities' community-based running
program

Foundations of Performance Nutrition is a great introduction to the complex and often overwhelming topic of
performance nutrition.  

Presentation will introduce the following topics:

  • Macro-nutrients and their roles in performance nutrition
  • Micro-nutrients and their roles in performance nutrition
  • Hydration guidelines specific to training at altitude
  • Primary fuel sources for differing energetic pathways
  • Nutrition guidelines to train, perform and recover
  • Opportunity to ask specific performance nutrition questions

multi-pitch route is all about and learning the logistics of climbing one of these routes.  If you answered yes to the
questions above, please join me for a slide show presentation that will discuss some of the training principles and
nutritional strategies I use to help clients prepare to tackle big climbs.

Soutwest and Sierra Nevada climbing destinations  attendees can expect to see will include:  Mount Hayden, Cheops
Plateau, Castleton Tower, Ancient Arts, Black Kaweah, Mount Whitney, Royal Arches and Solar Slab.

A great introduction to prepare for remote climbs.  Presentation will include basic training principles for climbing and
nutritional strategies to improve your chances of success on your dream climb.

This 2 hour clinic introduces the basics of training for technical rock climbing.

Olympic Training Site Dryland Clinic For Team FAST(Flagstaff Alpine Ski & Snowboard Team)

This clinic is for members of Team FAST, and will focus on maintaining a muscular balance through training and
improving core strength for alpine skiing and snowboarding.  The first half of the clinic will be a lecture discussing the
benefits of a strong core and developing muscular balance, the kinetic chain as it relates to sports and proper
activation of the core to provide a strong center for sports performance.  The second half will be a group exercise
format emphasizing exercises to promote muscular balance and developing a strong core.
