mountaineering and mountain biking. Cross training activities include; trail running, weight lifting, yoga, trekking, fast packing, road biking, bouldering, rafting, kayaking and canyoneering. GRAND CANYON- I have spent over 300 nights below the rim of the Grand Canyon, including hiking all major trails, first ascents and descents, and climbing many of the towers temples and buttes. MT RAINIER- I lived at Paradise Lodge on Mt. Rainier for 4 years, ticking multiple ascents per season on a majority of the technical routes up the mountain, snowboard descents and first ascent lines on surrounding Tatoosh Range peaks, many in winter. CASCADES- Climbed all major cascade volcanoes including Hood, Baker, Adams, and St Helens. SEQUOIA/KINGS CANYON- Spent 3 summers logging 50+ mile days, multiple peak ascents in a day and first ascent technical rock climbs. YOSEMITE- Lived in Yosemite Valley for 4 months, climbing sport, slab, traditional, bouldering and big-wall aid routes. ALASKA- Lived on Kenai Penisula for 6 months, highlighted by a 14 day trip in Kenai Fjords National Park. After being dropped off on the tidal flats by bush plane we spent 2 weeks recon/attempting first ascent lines of surrounding glaciated peaks. MARTIAL ARTS- Practiced for 10 years. SAILING- Racing 30 foot yacht on east coast. LACROSSE- Played at the high school and college level. CLIMBING- Mt. Whitney, Shasta, Castle Valley, Red Rocks, Indian Creek, Canyon Lands, Arches, Colorado National Monument, Joshua Tree and Tahquitz. TREKKING- Portions of AZT, Pacific Crest and Appalachian Trails |
